Many people dream of living in the countryside.

A quiet morning.

From far away, countryside life often looks peaceful.
It looks slow, warm, and simple.

But after living here for a while, we realized that rural life is not only made of beautiful scenes.

There is always something to clean.
Something to move.
Something to fix before the rain comes.
Something growing faster than expected in the yard.

A house with a garden asks for your hands more often than you imagine.

Still, those small tasks have slowly become part of our days.

We make a drink in the morning, look around the yard, check what has changed overnight, and spend time with the ordinary things that fill the house.

There are days when nothing special happens.

But maybe that is the point.

Not every day in the countryside is dramatic.
Not every moment becomes a beautiful scene.
Most days are made of small routines, quiet movements, and simple decisions.

That is why we started this series.

We are living here first.

Before saying that countryside life is beautiful,
before saying that it is difficult,
before turning it into a dream,

we wanted to live it, touch it, and record it as honestly as we can.

전원생활을 꿈꾸기 전에, 먼저 살아보고 있습니다

누구나 한 번쯤은 시골살이를 상상합니다.

조용한 아침.
작은 마당.
창가에 놓인 커피 한 잔.
계절에 따라 조금씩 달라지는 정원.

멀리서 보면 전원생활은 늘 평화로워 보입니다.
느리고, 따뜻하고, 단순해 보입니다.

하지만 직접 살아보니 알게 되었습니다.

시골살이는 예쁜 장면만으로 이루어져 있지 않다는 것을요.

치워야 할 것이 있고,
옮겨야 할 것이 있고,
비가 오기 전에 정리해야 할 것이 있고,
생각보다 빨리 자라나는 마당의 풀들이 있습니다.

마당 있는 집은 생각보다 자주 손을 부릅니다.

그래도 그 작은 일들이 어느 순간부터 우리의 하루가 되었습니다.

아침에 마실 것을 만들고,
마당을 한 바퀴 둘러보고,
밤사이 무엇이 달라졌는지 살피고,
집 안팎의 평범한 것들과 함께 시간을 보냅니다.

아무 일도 일어나지 않는 날도 많습니다.

그런데 어쩌면 그게 이 생활의 중요한 부분인지도 모릅니다.

시골의 하루가 늘 극적이지는 않습니다.
모든 순간이 아름다운 장면이 되는 것도 아닙니다.
대부분의 날들은 작은 반복과 조용한 움직임, 그리고 단순한 선택들로 채워집니다.

그래서 이 시리즈를 시작했습니다.

먼저 살아보고 있습니다.

시골살이가 아름답다고 말하기 전에,
